ReventÓN Trail El Paso 2022 - Classic
This is the most popular and also the most veteran of the Reventón El Paso disciplines, because it has been held since 2011. Its main characteristic is that it accumulates all its ascent in the first stretch of the race, since from the start to La Hilera track it confronts its participants with a continuous climb of almost 800 meters of elevation and 7.7 kilometers in length, which in the stretch of El Reventón faces ramps of over 35%. After reaching an altitude of over 1,400 meters, it gets to its highest point at La Hilera track and reaches Refugio del Pilar, before descending along the PR LP 14 certified trail to Llano de los Jables. There it overlaps with the Marathon route, which runs along La Pernada ravine, and turns directly towards the finish line when it reaches Llano de las Cuevas. Throughout its 31,670 meters, the popular runners will find a cumulative elevation gain of 2,782 meters and six refreshment points.
